The Law of Detachment, The Law of Polarity, and the Law of Reflection are the focus of this final part of this blog series, Beyond the Law of Attraction Part 4.
The Law of Detachment states that in order to receive what we want we have to let go of our attachment to it. You do not force things to happen; you allow things to happen. The Law of Detachment is the ultimate act of allowing. This does not mean that we create by default, or without intention.
This law works with all of the Laws of the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. Let’s look at how this works. With the Law of Attraction, we create based upon our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs by default. Using the Law of Deliberate Creation, we create based upon our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs on purpose. Applying the Law of Allowing, we take little action other than to release control trying to make others the way we want them to be and how, what, and when our desires will manifest. In the Law of Pure Potentiality, we realize that we are part of Creator, can do anything within our divine birthright, and through God there are infinite possibilities.
Utilizing the Law of Detachment, we detach from the outcome. We give our desires to the Creator and let them go. We trust that whatever manifests is for our good. With this law, our part is to release the outcome and trust the Creator with the manifestation of the outcome. This law requires a trust and faith in the Creator and the release of our desires to the manifestation of what we want. Detachment comes from an abundance mindset knowing that everything will work out. It allows us to stay open to not only receive what we want, but also, to allow The Creator to bring us something better.
This is a peaceful law if we cooperate with it. Detachment is about being free. When practiced, there is the realization that there are no problems. There is always a way for things to work out. For example, on my 2012 vision board, I had a picture of a new car; a Kia Soul to be exact. I wanted a green one, an Alien Green one. Have you seen that car? It is so unique and cool looking!
To be honest, I really did not know if I would get a new car when I put that on my vision board. I just thought, “Hmm, this would be nice.” Anyhow, the end of the year had come. It was December. I looked at my vision board which contained several things and was pleased. All of them except the new Kia Soul had manifested. I was grateful for all the manifestations. I still felt that the Kia Soul was a nice idea though it had not manifested. Since it was the beginning of December, I did not think it would. Well, it did manifest that year in less than 30 days! However, instead of getting a new Alien Green Kia Soul, I got the newest model, the 2013 model, in Moss Green! Alien Green was no longer being used and Moss Green was the new green color for the Soul. I love this color even more!
I detached myself from the outcome of whether I would get a car that year. I stayed positive put the intention out there (Law of Attraction), took deliberate action by putting it on my vision board (Deliberate Creation), allowed the process of how the Universe would deliver the car (Law of Allowing), knew that Creator could deliver me a Kia Soul or any other car for that matter (Law of Pure Potentiality), and then detached from the outcome of whether I would get the car (Law of Detachment). As a result, I got what I wanted even better!
To put the Law of Detachment in play for your life, once you have done your part of manifesting your desires, then hand the outcome over to the Creator. It is that simple. Once you have done your part, leave the rest to Creator. Let go and let God. Be grateful for the results. Be flexible with how the outcome manifests, when the outcome manifests, and where the outcome manifests. Trust, have faith and enjoy as your best life, unfolds!
The Law of Polarity
The Law of Polarity shows us that everything contains two opposite sides or duality. It is like a stick with two ends. On one end is “positive” and the other “negative”. Our perspective has a transformative power in our lives. It shows that our perspective can determine how we feel and respond to what we experience. Have you ever seen two people who go through the exact same thing, yet they have two seemingly opposite reactions? Why is that? Perspective.
In life, everything might not go EXACTLY the way we want. Sometimes, it cannot go EXACTLY the way we want to get what we want. Sometimes, things have to get seemingly “worse” before they can get better in order to get the outcome we are working for. Years ago, I wanted to do work I love: empowering people to live their best lives. During that time, I had a favorite job: empowering entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses. Then, I left that job after a change in management that ultimately closed the organization. Obviously, I was upset about it. Later, I realized that it was not a “bad” thing after all. It actually was a “good” thing to lose that job. The new organization I went to paid me more money, which I needed when I went through a divorce about a year later, and became a divorced mom of three children.
In addition, I developed, even more, skills as I coached co-workers on the job through personal issues. That job led me to my final job promoting me to the top of my career. My final job provided income for me to go back to school to earn my Doctorate in Metaphysical Science and faith that the Creator keeps promises. All of which, gave me incredible confidence to retire from my accounting career in 2016 and go into healing and wellness work full-time. So, the loss of my favorite job ultimately led me to do the work I love, empowering people to live their best lives!
To apply this law in your own life, look at what you see as “bad” in your life. Could it be that this thing is actually being used for “good” to get you what you want and where you want to go? Know that your perspective on it will determine how you feel and what you see manifest. The Law of Polarity teaches us that there is a solution to every problem. Within every failure lies success. All things work together for good. Sometimes, we miss our manifestations and the enjoyment of them because we are so stuck in seeing the “bad” in a situation instead of the “good.” Seeing the good and being grateful gives us positive perspective. Remember the Law of Attraction and the Law of Deliberation Creation, as well as the Law of Polarity, shows us that what we focus grows. Our perspective has a strong, transformative power to create our best lives!
The Law of Reflection
The Law of Reflection is sometimes called a bonus law. It states that what we see in others is actually a reflection of who we are. So, if we see something that we admire, we also contain those admirable qualities even if we do not yet see the manifestation of them. Conversely, if we see something that we despise, we also contain those despicable qualities or fear that we might develop them. Wisdom tells us that what someone thinks of us is none of our business. Conversely, what you think of someone else is all about you, not them. This law is proof of that.
For instance, there are people who cannot get along with people who act just like them. They condemn each other for the same behavior. Appalled by the inappropriateness of the others’ actions, yet they never see how they are both doing the same thing! This often occurs with parents and children.
This law even applies to anything we see outside of ourselves. For instance, if we have fear or insecurity about finances, it reflects fear and insecurity within ourselves. Until that fear and insecurity is resolved, no matter how much money we earn, we will still feel insecure about not having enough.
How to apply this law in our lives is this, heal ourselves. Work on ourselves. If you see something that you do not like in others and it bugs you or if you see something in someone that you really want to be, then work on yourself to bring about your true essence. Once you are healed and grow, you will no longer be so annoyed or enamored. You will be in balance loving and accepting who you are fully. This law helps us to know what more we need to work on in ourselves to be fully present and fully who we are. We live more and more authentically. In summary, love yourself more. Embrace the Law of Reflection and live your best life!
As you can see through this four-part blog series, there is so much more to know and understand besides The Law of Attraction in order to produce the results you want in your life. All of the laws powerfully work together. Applying and embracing them will lead to creating your best life!
