It’s time to reclaim that body, relationship, career and lifestyle that’s rightfully yours.
There’s often that moment when it hits you. You’d sick and tired of being sick and tired. You’re getting through your day vs. powering through your day. You’re looking and feeling okay vs. looking and feeling the way you really want to. You’re exhausted vs. energized. You’re content vs. excited about your life and you’re surviving vs. thriving. The reality of all you’ve been missing out on hits you like a ton of bricks.
Maybe you see how your lack of confidence has kept you from advancing in your career. Maybe those old eating habits keep leading you to wear what fits vs. wear what you want. Maybe all that negative self-talk has slowly chipped away at your resolve and self-esteem. It could be anything but what’s definite is that these beliefs and behaviors have been moving you towards results you don’t want. When we realize this, we can feel any range of emotions-anger, disappointment, sadness, guilt, helplessness, hopelessness and frustration to name a few. While these emotions are uncomfortable, they’re a necessary first step because when we’ve had enough, we’re motivated to do something different. Often we haven’t changed because we’re not sure how we may lack a strategy or we’re simply unaware of how this behavior has created a certain result.
What’s also likely is a full blown fear of the unknown.
Sure you may want to look, feel or live better but you know what it’s like where you are right now. What would changes to your current way of living mean? Who would be impacted by it? How would you be perceived and could you handle those changes?
Believe it or not, that’s enough to keep you right where you are. But here’s what happens…
When the pain of where you are becomes greater than the fear of the unknown, that’s when your internal strength takes over, you become fearless and you make the decision to change.
It’s in that precise moment that a decision is made. Maybe it’s a decision to get back to the gym, cut back on unhealthy eating, be more social, pursue that opportunity, make a decision about that relationship, have that long overdue conversation, or just have more fun.
Whatever it is personally for you, you know when you mean it.
If you’re living in a body you’re not proud of, feeling unfit, overweight, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, exhausted, unattractive and unhappy, check in with your readiness to change. Daily actions in the right direction are a great first step and may be what you need as you create a plan or strategy you can live with. If a big and bold move is required, that’s great too; although you may want some support as those changes are put into place.
You’ve waited long enough. It’s time to reclaim that body, relationship, career and lifestyle that’s rightfully yours.
You got this. Let me know how I can help.
Please let me know what else you need and thanks!
