There is immense healing power when we’re ready to let go and forgive.
To live a truly free and enjoyable life it is vital to let go of any negative and painful memories and emotions that we may be holding on to. By this, I’m referring to past injustices, hurt, wrong-doings and any negativity that clouds our heart. You may be thinking that this is easier said than done, however if you truly love yourself and care about your life and soul then it is time to free yourself from any negativity that you may be struggling to let go of.
Forgiveness is something that you do for yourself, not for the other person.
You are the caretaker of your heart and soul and you deserve to be enjoying a free, beautiful, happy and fulfilling life. Letting go will bring you this inner peace and joy.
Holding on to past grief, anger and pain prevent us from living a free and whole life in the present. We simply exist in the present whilst reliving past hurt and frustrations which only serves to drain us of our life-energy, keep us stuck, feeling unhappy and existing in a constant negative space. Enormous amounts of energy are wasted when we hold back our love, hold onto hate, and harbour negative self-destructive feelings. Why would anyone want to live this way? How we respond to these past events and what we carry into our present and our future is entirely in our hands. This negativity will continue to shape present decisions until one is truly ready to let go.
Forgiveness does not condone or mean that any hurt or pain that was caused will be forgotten. It does not turn a wrong into a right. It is accepting that yes, it did happen, it was definitely not okay, but it happened. It is learning to let go of hoping or wishing that it could have been any other way. Others may have deeply hurt or harmed us, but it is important to remember that they are responsible for those actions. It is up to us how we choose to live the rest of our lives. Forgiveness simply means that you are giving yourself permission to release yourself away from the hurt and pain. It means that you will no longer allow the past to have a hold on your life today.
True forgiveness entails the ability to release; releasing ourselves from those self-perpetuating reminders that tie us to the past in negative ways. Forgiveness requires releasing of our anger, hurt, fear, pain, resentment and opening our hearts to love, peace, acceptance, and joy. Forgiveness is a medicine that can heal our wounds of hurt. True forgiveness brings us the freedom to be at peace within ourselves, that’s what forgiveness allows. The only remedy is letting go, and being willing to forgive. This will bring about true internal peace and ultimately freedom and joy. You will find that with this internal energy shift you will also experience incredible external life changes. After all, to experience permanent life changes one must work from the inside out, not the other way round.

Once you free yourself, you’ll be amazed by the power of this new found energy and what it attracts into your life. As we open the door to forgiveness, we open the door to life and to all forms of abundance and well-being. Forgiveness completely changes our energy field and as we make way for love to enter our hearts, the law of attraction works in response by attracting people and circumstances that are of a loving and positive nature. The energy that we are sending out is of a completely different nature to the previous closed and heavy energy. This new found free-flowing energy is filled with positivity and joy.
View life as a mirror. What we reflect out, is simply reflected back to us and please remember that forgiveness is a gift that you give to yourself. It is the gift of freedom, happiness, and life.
