Having and maintaining a positive outlook creates a happier life. But, how can you focus on the positive in the midst of challenges? Let’s jump in and find out.

Here are 20 Power-Packed Tips for A Positive Outlook on Life:

  1. Appreciate the Abundance of LIFE all Around You.

Every tree, plant, flower, every person, pet, wildlife critter. Everywhere you look on Earth, you will find an abundance of life.

  1. Expose Yourself to the Sun for 15 minutes a Day.

The Vitamin D that you soak up from the sun raises serotonin levels, which equals a more positive mood and outlook on life.

  1. Meditate.

By slowing down your thoughts and body during meditation, you’re able to ease feelings of overwhelm and stress. With less stress and tension in the mind and body, you allow yourself to experience more well-being in its place.

  1. Slow Down; Take Time for Yourself.

We’re all so busy catering to those around us that we end up neglecting our own needs. By slowing down, you’re able to reconnect with yourself in the present moment and put life back into perspective. NOW is where all your power exists.

  1. Surround Yourself with Positive People and Engage in Uplifting Environments.

We are products of our environments, both positive and negative. The more you can expose yourself to people and experiences that make you feel GOOD about yourself, the more you can LIVE from that space, and ultimately develop the positive habit of a high vibe.

  1. Develop your Intuition or “Gut Feeling” and LISTEN TO IT!

Your Higher Self or Soul always has your best interest at heart. It will ALWAYS guide you to the path that benefits you, and ultimately others as well. Seeing life through the eyes of your Higher Self guarantees you will have a positive outlook on ANY situation in life. With practice, it becomes easier; but to start, here’s a good rule of thumb: If a thought feels good or “right” to you on a core level, it’s coming from your Soul. If a thought makes you feel “less than” or brings on a low-vibe emotion, it’s coming from your ego.

  1. “Rise Above the Clouds, Where the Sun is Always Shining.”

This is a personal mantra I use to remind myself, when going through turbulence, to take my perspective higher. Ask, “How can I see this (person, experience, etc.) in a way that makes me feel better?” As long as you are willing to see the situation in a better light, you will be guided to feeling better, even if you have no idea what that looks like at the moment.

  1. Know that Life is Actually Rigged in Your Favor.

You are DESIGNED for success, just as a flower is designed to bloom. Success means something different to everyone, but generally, if you are growing and making progress in life, you are successful. That progress is our ultimate goal.

  1. Celebrate Your Daily Victories.

When we step into living more consciously, we become more aware of our thoughts, beliefs, and actions. From this place of awareness, we can choose how to respond to the world around us. If you are pleased with the way you handled a situation, congratulate yourself! Recognize what it took for you to achieve that accomplishment and honor the virtues you gained. Was it patience, compassion, courage, gratitude? Those are wins!

  1. Love Yourself.

Have utmost patience with yourself. Forgive yourself for your decisions in life; you did the best you could with what you knew at the time. Remember, you are still learning.

  1. Stop Comparing Yourself to Others and Stay in Your Own Lane.

No two journeys are the same. They may mirror each other but our unique perspective always personalizes each lesson, each challenge, and each experience. Take flowers for instance; can you really compare them to each other? No way! All of them are beautiful! Know that about yourself and keep focusing on what lights up your heart.

  1. Dream Bigger.

When we think outside our current reality, we open ourselves up to receiving more Divine Guidance and more solutions to lead us to better lives. We are ever expanding beings; by nature, we want more and more. Give up the resistance (guilt) and step into your power to dream bigger and co-create more.

  1. Give Compliments.

It’s been proven many times over that giving is receiving. When you make someone else feel good about themselves, you feel good about yourself! What you give out also comes back to you. So, you will find others complimenting you more too.

  1. The Universe Really DOES have Your Back.

It is ALWAYS here to support us, to help us learn and grow, and to co-create with us as we realize and act upon our heart’s desires.

  1. See through the Eyes of A Child.

For just a moment, take a look around, wherever you are right now as if you are seeing it for the first time. Notice the shapes, the colors, the way the light shines and the shadows cast. How beautiful, magical, and magnificent is the world around you?

  1. Express the Gratitude You Have for Others in Your Life.

Kind words are often kept to ourselves out of fear of vulnerability. Sharing our thoughtful messages can brighten someone’s day and reflect positivity back to us!

  1. Breathe in the Life-Giving Energy all Around You.
