Love your goddess self! As a goddess, you are meant to flourish in the essence of your life. Flourishing in life brings you balance and greater ease. The energy found in the essence of flourishing comes from the deeper depths of love found within you.

What is flourishing?

According to positive psychology founder Dr. Martin Seligman “To flourish is to find fulfillment in our lives, accomplishing meaningful and worthwhile tasks, and connecting with others at a deeper level – in essence living the good life.”

Dr. Lynn Soots describes flourishing as being “the product of the pursuit and engagement of an authentic life that brings inner joy and happiness through meeting goals, being connected with life passions, and relishing in accomplishments through the peaks and valleys of life.”

Flourishing isn’t a one and done but rather a beautiful journey requiring your desire, attention, and intention as you work within your own goals, hopes, and dreams!

Practical tips to flourish in your life

Cultivate a loving relationship with yourself

Accepting and loving who you are is key to flourishing. This may sound cliche and a lofty goal but in reality, your “self-love” holds the keys to loving and accepting others from the foundation of taking time to care for and love yourself exactly as you are.

Have fun

While getting things done matters, so too does enjoying the fruits of getting things done as you do them. Enjoyment and having fun illuminate and color daily life into precious moments. Do something that brings out the fun for you! This is different for everyone. What does this look like and feel like for you?

Practice gratitude

Recognizing and appreciating the beautiful amidst the ordinariness of daily life is living in gratitude. When you mindfully acknowledge what you\’re thankful for you naturally create positive energy. This energy is one of the cornerstones for flourishing!

Journal

There is a calm power in placing your thoughts on paper be it actual or digital. Journaling helps you see and understand your priorities, desires, and concerns. This brings you greater clarity and acceptance. Think of journaling as a daily life practice and roadmap.

Connect often with others

Being energetically connected with our families and our tribe cultivates healthy wellbeing and is key to flourishing. Staying connected is linked to stress release, happiness, improved mental health, and increased productivity in all areas of life.

Own your voice

Owning who you are, shapes how you show up and how you are recognized. Vocalizing your feelings and thoughts from love emboldens your authenticity. This cultivates flourishing!

Daily routine

Feeling centered and balanced takes place amidst a personal daily routine. Creating a personal morning routine lovingly lays the foundation for what is yet to be for you in the context of your day. When you start your day with such calming and nourishing energy you’ll naturally flourish.
