When I first went back to school to get my certification as a life coach, I had no idea what to expect.
As I dove into my intro class, insecurities began to surface on mass. But I was fortunate because one of the first tools we were introduced to was a short, hypnosis audio called “The Waterfall.” I, as I do everything, went in with an open mind. But even then, I could not have imagined how this audio would begin to change my world.
I was no stranger to hypnosis.
When I was a teenager, my mother worked toward her certification as a clinical hypnotherapist. She believed strongly in it, she sent my aunt to her teacher to help her quit smoking. After one session just like that after decades of smoking my aunt quit. She had been empowered, and the teacher provided her with post-hypnotic suggestions that were instantly effective. Of course, this is not always the case, and how long it takes really does depend on the individual because behind addictions are underlying issues that have to be resolved within the unconscious.
I too asked to see my mom’s teacher, although I cannot remember why. But it was my first encounter with hypnosis. When I did the waterfall audio, I became so relaxed that at some point I no longer heard the words. I woke up, and tears had stained my face, but I felt different somehow. Like a weight had been lifted from me. The things I didn’t think I could do before, now I could do. And the possibilities were endless. This audio would prove to be helpful to me time and time again throughout that year of study. Whenever I felt insecure and lacked confidence that I could be a good coach, I fell back on that audio. Eventually, once I got my certification as a hypnotherapist, that audio inspired me to write my own script for self-esteem and confidence.
Not only did I write it, but I also recorded it for people to purchase for download and infused it with Reiki healing energy as well. It’s an audio that I find myself using once every few months. Especially when I feel self-doubt and lack the esteem to do things to help myself or assert my power. Oftentimes, I find that when there is something I need to do, but just can’t seem to get it done; Lack of self-esteem and confidence are usually at the root of that block.
Once I have this awareness, I am able to take time and listen to the hypnosis recording.
Within a day or two, I feel so empowered that I, without hesitation, tackle whatever was holding me back. It’s been a remarkable tool in my kit to help me achieve greatness in my life. It helped me when I reentered the dating game after being with the same person for 19 years. It has also helped me overcome the fear of failure as I keep working to build my coaching and healing business.
Hypnosis is a powerful tool.
I wholeheartedly believe in it as a means to help us reprogram our unconscious mind and build positive beliefs that help us in our lives. By using this tool, we uproot whatever was in our unconscious that we picked up over time that said we were not worthy, powerful, or could do or achieve something. We all have beliefs that exist deep within us that we do not even consciously know about. As a result, we move through our lives feeling less than, inadequate, unworthy, powerless with no understanding of why. We struggle to achieve our goals and desires, to create the life we want to live. But what if that didn’t have to be the case?
What if there was a way, a tool, like hypnosis that could help you overcome those issues?
There are so many tools out there, and I encourage you all to try them. Try whatever calls to you and whatever resonates with you. Don’t let fear of the unknown stop you from doing everything you can to have the life you deserve. Because YOU deserve to live your best life. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Much love and light to you.
