“I’m doing everything right, but my business still isn’t making enough money!”
These words recently came from a potential client. And I knew what she meant. I had the same experience years ago when I went up to a coach at a big event and told him if he could tell me one thing, I needed to do but wasn’t, I’d hire him. He couldn’t. And that’s because I, like that prospective client, wasn’t failing due to a lack of effort or a lack of knowledge, I was failing because of the energetic and emotional blocks keeping me from the success I so craved.
For each person, those blocks are different. For one person, it may be an inner child issue, for another, it may be codependency or not being able to see their own value. For me, it was the need to keep myself poor because giving me money was the only way my father could show me, he loved me. And yet, it would take me years after the conversation with that coach to figure out what the block was. Many people never figure it out and end up closing their business and going back to working a job.
The energetics of your business are equally as important as the tactics and strategies you implement. But most people have no idea what they are or how to access them.
Look at your business differently
I’m Kelle Sparta. I’m a transformational shaman and I want to give you a whole different way to look at your business, through the lens of metaphysics, energy, and magic. Over the course of this series, we’ll be delving into the energies impacting your business, how you can use spiritual practices to create more business for yourself, and how your personal energy field and blocks are impacting your business.
The energetic world is a big place, and it has infinite ways in which it impacts all areas of your life, so how do we hone in on the ones that impact your business?
We look at key areas:
- Energy Fields – yours, your business’, and your employees’
- Power Dynamics within the business and with clients and vendors
- The Energetic Environment of your physical or virtual space
- Messaging and Branding – how you engage with your prospects and customers
- Revenue Generation and your ability to receive
- Structural and Foundational Issues impacting your customer service experience and your company’s ability to function effectively
- Your Product and Service – its design, delivery, and efficacy
- Staff and Company Culture – how people experience your company
- Industry Influences – how things going on in your industry impact your company
So, as you can see, we’ve got a lot to talk about and it all has an energetic component. I’ve been coaching business owners for over 25 years and, aside from the need to learn the basics of how to run a business, most of the issues I’ve come across aren’t a lack of education on the part of the business owner. Instead, they are an energetic block or misalignment either within the business owner themself, between the business and the customer or prospect, or the messaging and the business or prospect. It’s that simple. It’s so common, I’m currently struggling to come up with even one example that doesn’t fit one of these scenarios.
Your business as an energetic entity
Today, we’re going to look at the entire concept of considering your business as an energetic entity with a field that has to be separated from your own, monitored, cleared, and expanded to achieve success. In the months to come, we’ll be getting more granular about different areas of your business and how to address them on an energetic level.
For now, I want to start by addressing the issue of separating your business from your personal energy field. Please note, if you are in the startup phase of your business, it is not time to do this step. Wait until your business is launched, running, and making money for a while first. Your business needs your energy until then.
This step is for those whose business is up and running and making money consistently. If you’re like most people, you likely formed your business from your energy field. You built and nurtured it using your life force, much like a mother does when gestating a baby.
Once your child (business) is viable to survive on its own (making money consistently), just like that mother, you have to give birth. You need to release your business from your energy field and allow it to take on an energy of its own, for the health of both the parent and the child.
If your business stays in your energy field, it will be limited to the size of your personal field, forever hamstrung. And it will also be more subject to your blocks than if it is a separate entity.
If it stays in your field, then you will also lose your energy to the business, continuing to feed it your life force and you’ll find yourself mired in exhaustion you can’t explain. So, releasing it to stand energetically on its own is the right choice.
A simple visualization
This process is as simple as visualizing birthing the energy out of your field and then cutting the umbilical cord. (Yes, this works for guys too.)
You’ll be stunned at how easy it is and how much of an impact this simple visualization can make on your business.
