Let me premise the quote above with a disclaimer that this is not selfish rhetoric. We simply cannot offer to others what we at first do not possess ourselves. If we do not love ourselves, we would hardly know where to begin in releasing love freely. If we take no time for our own spiritual and physical recharge and give all our energy away with little regard for the vessel delivering the magic, then eventually and inevitably we will be in deep need of personal healing and care from others.
After years of studying the tenacity and flow of the human spirit, and having traveled down the rabbit hole to \’giving it all away\’, I think I feel you nodding in knowing.
Love, compassion, and respect with the power to shift this world for more all begin within. At Project Yes! Stop what you\’re doing and write down:
– 3 ways that you can honor and love yourself better this week
– Write a Yes! Statement (powerful promise to self) for each, with when, where and how you\’ll make \’er happen
– Observe the surge of Wonder and WoW you feel after you complete each one and then,
– Go out into the world and encourage a kindred soul to do the same.
Imagine a world where we all filled our own cup and then let the light flow over and through others. What spark would ignite and spread, as they see and recognize what balance between self and collective love looks like and the limitless benefits it holds?
Live a Life as though everyone is watching and learning how to BE better in this world.
