Love, who doesn’t want it?

There are many ways we can receive love, but often, people feel that no matter what they are doing or have tried, they cannot find a special romantic interest. It’s hard today. With the advent of social media and being inundated with technology, many people have resorted to staying within the confines of their homes, their safe haven. They rely on technology for connection, instead of getting out there and making those connections in person. Thus, reducing their chances of finding someone, they may connect with on a deeper, more soulful level.

We judge people by their photographs, but we miss out on so much when we don’t meet them in person. Photos are only a small portion of the picture of who a person is and how you would feel being around them. People put filters on their photos so you cannot even know if that photo is a real representation of them. And some people the camera just hates, but you could find them attractive in person. The problem is, you would never know unless you were out there.

So, take up a hobby, find a new passion, and as you do your rituals to draw in love, you will increase your chances of finding it.

If you don’t show the universe you really want something, it won’t give it to you. I have coached and offered workshops around ceremonies and spiritual rituals. It’s important to understand that a ritual is often something done within a ceremony. Rituals aren’t something you need to fear. You have probably done a ritual without realizing it. Perhaps at a wedding, funeral, birthday, and these are just the main events.

Rituals are comprised of three major parts:

  1. Respect, Awe, or Fascination.
  2. Specific Belief System.
  3. Symbolism.

What Goes into A Spiritual Ritual?

If you are someone who has never done a ritual before, you may challenge that statement. The act of getting up every day, brushing your teeth, and taking care of your hygiene, for instance, is a form of ritual. The difference with a Spiritual Ritual is that you are focusing your conscious intent and holding the belief that what you are doing will assist you in manifesting what you desire. Ritual is something that is done repetitively. It symbolizes what we want.

What you will find below is a ritual I have personally prepared for the purposes of this blog. However, as I teach in my workshops on creating ceremonies – rituals, sacred space, and intention are everything. Therefore, it’s important that one chooses the tools to be part of their ritual that is meaningful to them.

For a spiritual ritual for love, I recommend items that are symbolic of love.

The duration of this ritual depends on you. But I would say to do it for at least a month. However, you could repeat it as many times per day feels right to you.

Natural stones such as rose quartz, rhodonite, green aventurine, rhodochrosite, and ruby are great to use for a love ritual. Each of these stones holds energetic properties. Some help individuals connect to the heart center, hold on to compassion and love for themselves and others, and selfless love. The ruby connects to the root chakra and helps attract passionate love.

The first part of the ritual is to hold charged stones, they can be raw or tumbled.

Charging stones is done by either putting them in sunlight, the light of a full moon, or if you buy them activated with Reiki energy that will work, as well. There are other methods you can use to charge the stones such as salt water (though please, first research which stones cannot get wet).

I invite you to find a sacred space that you can sit and do your ritual daily.

You can consider this a small altar, or puja, that is only used for rituals. Decorate that space so that it excites you to go there and connect. You can find photographs of people in love, images of love, or anything that helps you connect to love. Divinely connected deities known for being in love, or a couple, are also great for a ritual like this. You can call them in to assist you in attracting love. And the best part is, you don’t have to be a certain religion to call on them. They will still come and support you. Place them around your altar.

When your altar is ready, take the stones suggested above and sit with them. Focus your intention on what you wish to attract and not the specifics around the way a person looks etc., but go to the root of it to attract to you a healthy romantic relationship if that is what you wish. Suggested time would be to sit with the stones for five to ten minutes while you focus on what you wish to attract.

I also recommend using music. You can choose from a playlist of songs that help you connect to love for yourself, as well as, love for others or use the binaural frequency for raising your vibrations to the love frequency, 639 Hz. Because, as with anything we wish to manifest in our lives, we must first be that energetic vibration in order to attract it. Once you finish this portion of the ritual, take time to write a mantra on a piece of paper, and then repeat it out loud four times. Four is the number for manifestation.

Mantra: “I am a divine being of unconditional love.”

Saying a mantra will reinforce raising your vibrations to attract more love into your life.

I wish you well on your journey to find what you seek.
