When we view ourselves as part of a planet besieged in every kind of calamity across the globe, we often fall into tapping our memory bank of ideas that we think might save the world. Some of those ideas may be spot on. Many may not. But at the very foundation of human society, one truth will bring each of us who call this earth home closer to understanding how this can be achieved. It is not going to be resolved simply by a specific political system or method of governing, nor will it be only in the long overdue acknowledgment of threats to our environment from climate change. It won\’t be simply by eradication of the worst diseases on the planet. It will arise when each of us is able to see the oneness of the human soul by seeing our own selves in the face of everyone we encounter.

Oneness is perhaps an overused term, but it is also at the deepest core of our existence. In the holy presence of our own soul, we find connection to our own Source. We feel great peace in that place. And guess what? We each feel that great peace in our intimate moments with that very same one Source. We are indeed one family and, in our souls, we all meet in the same place when we connect with that holiest part of ourselves. So really there is no stranger. That is so much more than a platitude or nice thought. It is a fundamental truth that has the potential to effect great changes in how we think and view the world. Oneness comes when we live this perception, all over the globe. I\’m on it! Who is with me? Peace to all!
