There are times in life when we have breakthroughs, aha moments, when synchronicities abound and circumstances conspire to hit us over the head and get our attention. Mine came during meditation. It showed itself as a visual of walking out of the darkness of the woods and into the light. The message is both profoundly personal and professional. For my soul, it is my higher self reminding me, encouraging me to be fearless, to be brave, to be seen, to risk judgment, to be different, to come out into the world and shine who I am, to wholly embrace the brightness of my being. You see, who I am has always felt a little different. It seemed easier to hide. I am sensitive, a seer, a clairvoyant by nature and training. It is a beautiful gift that I have been given and for many, many years I have shared it quietly from the safety of my small meditation hut in the woods where I live. Professionally, I am experiencing an energetic shift that I can only describe as a huge blessing from the divine, an answer to my soul\’s question, a higher call that will not be ignored. It is my time to be fearless, to come out of hiding from others and myself, to leave the woods behind and share my light, my gifts of seeing and writing, on a higher level to a larger group and a grander venue. This is who I am. It is why I am here. It is time to be fearless.

The following is the writing that spilled forth from my meditation. I share it with the hope that it inspires others, like me, who have been hiding to own their fearless self, to leave the woods and shine brightly in this world. We are in this together and the world needs our light.

Out of the Woods.
I feel the pull of the full moon on the Pisces of my being, the place that wants me still, hidden, that is afraid to leave the darkness because the woods have always meant safety, protection. I realize now the woods have become chains upon my soul, binding me, keeping me suspended, rendering me safely frozen. It\’s time to leave the dark of the woods and walk into the light, to shed all that is safe, to risk being seen, judged, misunderstood. Freedom calls me, spurs me, implores me to walk my path, to stand in the open light of the moon, to bask in the warmth of the sun, to remove the cloak of my past, release the fear of the future, and stand in the eternal crossroad of now. No more sadness just relief. No more fear just love. Courage I welcome you. Wisdom be mine. My heart leading the way, I honor this casting call of my soul. Goodbye woods. Hello my life. I\’m home.
