In our everchanging world, it seems as though the pace of life is moving increasingly faster, working itself into a whirlwind. The need for self-care, mental health, and prevention is quickly becoming a necessity for survival. We all want to live healthier, more peaceful lives but where do we go for help? And if you don’t have the extra cash, what can you do to help yourself?
Upleveling Wellness, a Wellness Universe exclusive series, is here to guide you. Glean from our experts’ wisdom and walk the path to a healthier, happier you.
Today, we introduce you to Carole Park.
The Wellness Universe (WU): What do you do?
Carole Park (CP): I’m a professional Light Worker and use Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Yoga, Meditation, Pur Energy helping, waiting, poetry in my practice.
WU: Why did you choose to devote your career to this?
CP: It’s a soul calling
WU: How does your work help individuals?
CP: I aid in the release and transformation of old habits, patterns & Karma to enable them to live their full human potential and to live as their soul.
WU: How can your work improve wellness in the workplace?
CP: By creating a positive, uplifting energy where employees feel happy, vibrant, calm and at peace. This helps them work more productively and efficiently.
WU: What can individuals do to help improve their wellness?
CP: They should follow both a spiritual path and a worldly one.
WU: How can employers improve wellness in the workplace?
CP: By listening and providing support in the form of positive, energizing well being.
WU: How can healthcare providers better support their clients/patients?
CP: By acknowledging that emotional, mental, psychic, and spiritual care is necessary alongside the usual medical care.
WU: How can individuals, employers, and the healthcare system navigate proactive vs reactive care?
CP: By addressing the cause of a person’s response and state of wellbeing rather than attempting to smooth over the effect.
WU: Tell us about a gaffe you made in the course of your practice, how it affected your client or business, and what you learned from it.
CP: In my early years of business and practice I expected too much progress too soon from clients and students. This resulted in them running away. I learned to allow things to unfold naturally.
WU: What is the best client outcome you provided?
CP: When teaching Tai Chi and Chi Kung to stroke recovery groups where some participants had lost the use of one or both arms. It was wonderful to see amazement and delight on their faces when their arm suddenly lifted and moved with the flowing energy.
WU: Please share a quote you live by.
CP: If you want to accord with the Tao, just do your job, then let go.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Many thanks!
Thank you for helping out, great information. “The four stages of man are infancy, childhood, adolescence, and obsolescence.” by Bruce Barton.
