Hello and happy February! February is generally a month when the world focuses on romantic love; however, the angels are asking us to love ourselves more which puts more love out into the world.

They’re urging us to embrace radical self-love and self-care each day during February. Self-care is essential, and it is not selfish nor is it optional. Think of it as a public service and a way to increase the level of love, joy, and peace in the world by treating yourself more compassionately and being a contagion for good.

Think of embracing your inner wisdom, and using your creativity and intuition as acts of self-care. Taking better care of ourselves leads to a deeper sense of inner peace and calm.

Love yourself enough to set boundaries. Your time and energy are precious. You get to choose how you use it. You teach people how to treat you by deciding what you will and won’t accept.

What is an affirmation?

It is a short, powerful statement used to shift our thoughts more positively. We have an estimated 50,000 thoughts a day, and most of them are not pretty. Often, we are very critical of ourselves. We would never dream of talking to another the way we “speak” to ourselves in our inner dialogue. I invite you to join me each day and recite these angel affirmations to bring more goodness and grace into our lives.

An affirmation only needs to feel about fifty percent true for it to resonate with you. Affirmations that begin with the words “I am” are incredibly powerful. Whatever follows the “I am” becomes your truth.

Be vigilant with the thoughts you think and say about yourself. You want to select empowering statements that improve the energy vibration of your life. For example, if you say, “I am tired. I am sick. I am broke. I am not worthy. I am stuck,” you are calling more of that low energy toward you.

You can shift those thoughts with affirmations.

This month we’ll focus on self-care and self-love, one affirmation for each day in February.

  1. As I begin the month, I open my heart a little bit wider and feel the love. I am safe.
  2. I decide to enjoy the day despite the weather or events happening around me.
  3. Today, I spend time delighting in fun, if only for a few moments during my busy day.
  4. I consider what I love and treasure about myself.
  5. I remember that self-care is important and that it benefits all of my relationships.
  6. Gratitude is a huge focus in my life. There is always something to appreciate.
  7. Today, I spend some time in quiet contemplation which blesses body, mind, and spirit.
  8. I enjoy the beauty of the natural world including the ever-changing sky.
  9. Today, I try something new.
  10. Today, I remember my angels are only a breath away. I am never alone.
  11. Connecting with like-minded souls is a great way to enhance my self-care.
  12. Today, I prioritize myself; this is excellent self-care.
  13. Today, I enjoy a special treat.
  14. Today, I savor love in its many forms in my life.
  15. Today, I show kindness to another which blesses us both.
  16. Today, I view myself through the lens of love and compassion.
  17. Today, I view others through the lens of love and compassion.
  18. Today, I remember to breathe.
  19. Today, I let ease guide my choices.
  20. Today, I remember that laughter is excellent medicine.
  21. Today, I seek wonder and beauty during my busy day.
  22. Today, I celebrate a loving event or memory.
  23. Today, I let myself and others off the hook.
  24. I place my hand on my heart, breathe deeply, and ask what message it has to share with me.
  25. Today, I celebrate a loving event or memory.
  26. My body is a sacred vessel, and I remember to fill my cup with what I need before becoming depleted.
  27. Today, I make time to enjoy a hobby or favorite past-time because creativity is important.
  28. I begin my day with a heart full of love and gratitude.
