There are moments in life that feel as though they have been gently stitched together by grace. SoulTreat 2026 created by The Wellness Universe at Art of Living Retreat Center, in Boone, NC was one of those experiences for me.
Nestled among the glorious Blue Ridge Mountains, the retreat center once again welcomed us with its peaceful beauty, rolling scenery, and sacred stillness. This was my second time visiting the Art of Living Retreat Center, and there was something deeply comforting about returning to a place that already felt familiar to my soul. The mountain air seemed to whisper, “Exhale. You are safe here.”
From the moment I arrived, I felt myself softening into the magical experience.
Our SoulTreat 2026 theme was “Living My Magical Life” and it was sheer magic.
The breathtaking scenery alone invites you to slow down and become present. Early mornings wrapped in mist, birdsong floating through the trees, and sunsets painting the mountains in soft gold created the perfect backdrop for reflection, connection, and renewal. Every corner of the retreat center seemed infused with serenity.
And then there was the food.
The nourishing Ayurvedic meals prepared with such mindfulness and care became part of the healing experience itself. Each meal felt grounding and intentional, offering not only nourishment for the body but comfort for the spirit as well. Sharing meals together became another way of building connection and community, something SoulTreat does so beautifully.
Yet for me, the true magic of SoulTreat was never just the location or even the workshops and experiences. It was the people.
There is something profoundly special about meeting online friends in person after years of virtual connection. Hugs came naturally and easily. Conversations felt deeper. Laughter came freely and authentically. And somehow, even the quiet moments together carried meaning.
SoulTreat created space for authentic connection in a world that so often feels rushed and disconnected.
I also had the joy of meeting beautiful new souls whose paths crossed mine in ways that felt divinely orchestrated. Those heart-centered conversations, shared tears, spontaneous laughter, and moments of vulnerability became some of the greatest treasures of the retreat.
One of the most meaningful parts of my SoulTreat experience was leading the Enchanted Gratitude Circle.
For over a year leading up to SoulTreat, I had been pondering and repeating the mantra, “I live an enchanted life.” It became more than words. It became an invitation to trust life, trust divine timing, and trust the unseen support surrounding us. I wove it into the Enchanted Gratitude Circle event.
As someone who has often experienced nervousness before stepping onto a stage or leading a gathering, I noticed something extraordinary this time. For the very first time, I did not feel sick to my stomach before taking the stage.
Instead, I felt calm and centered, yet alive with purpose.
Guided.
Held.
I felt myself moving in divine flow rather than trying to force or control the experience. It was as though the mantra had woven itself into my nervous system, gently reminding me that I did not need to perform. I simply needed to show up with love.
The Enchanted Gratitude Circle became a sacred exchange of presence, reflection, and heartfelt connection. Watching participants open their hearts to gratitude for themselves and their journeys was incredibly moving. There were tears, smiles, deep breaths, and moments of stillness that words can barely capture.
I was deeply moved by the magnitude of journaling the audience embraced and by the sacred, heartfelt shares they expressed, each one feeling truly monumental and profoundly meaningful.
We shared a beautiful song at the end, led by my dear friends and co-presenters, Leah Skurdal and Laurina Anderson, which felt like the whipped cream, nuts, and cherry on top of a deeply nourishing time together.
That evening reminded me that gratitude truly is transformational. Not just gratitude for what we have, but gratitude for who we are becoming.
Another deeply meaningful moment during SoulTreat was unveiling my Snippets of Self-Care card deck for the very first time.
Holding the finished deck in my hands at SoulTreat felt surreal and emotional. What began as tiny whispers of inspiration, journal scribbles, prayers, and loving intentions had finally become something tangible. Each card was created as a gentle offering of encouragement, comfort, and self-love.
At my vendor table, I offered mini-readings using the deck, and those moments became some of my favorite memories from the retreat.
People would sit down, often carrying invisible burdens, exhaustion, uncertainty, or longing. Together we would draw a card, breathe, reflect, and allow the message to unfold. Over and over again, participants would smile softly or tear up because the exact message they needed seemed to appear at exactly the right moment.
Those sacred little encounters reminded me that sometimes healing arrives through the simplest gestures. A loving word. A quiet pause. A reminder that we are not alone.
I also included a prayer request tin at my vendor table. I invited attendees to write down personal prayers, hopes, worries, or intentions and place them inside.

What unfolded touched my heart deeply.
Throughout the retreat, people quietly slipped handwritten notes into the tin. Some requests were filled with hope. Others carried grief, fear, uncertainty, or longing for healing. Many were deeply personal.
It became an incredible honor to hold those prayers with tenderness and compassion.
I found myself pausing throughout the event to place my hands gently on the tin and offer prayers for divine alchemy, healing, guidance, and orchestration for every soul represented there. It reminded me how much humanity longs to be seen, supported, and held in love.
One of the most unexpected highlights of SoulTreat was spending time with several of the professional soccer players attending the retreat experiences. Sitting together in the spa area til midnight talking openly about our life journeys created such special memories that I will cherish forever.
Despite our different backgrounds and paths, the themes were universal: growth, healing, pressure, resilience, self-worth, and the desire to live more authentically. I was reminded that beneath titles, careers, and accomplishments, we are all simply human beings seeking connection, peace, and purpose.
Those conversations felt beautifully grounded, real and divinely orchestrated.
As I reflect on SoulTreat 2026, my heart feels overflowing with gratitude.
Gratitude for the mountains.
Gratitude for the stillness.
Gratitude for every hug, conversation, shared meal, brave story, and each sacred moment.
Most of all, I am grateful for the reminder that enchantment is not something we must chase.
It is something we allow ourselves to notice.
It lives in meaningful connection.
It lives in courage.
It lives in gratitude.
It lives in showing up fully as ourselves.
And perhaps that is the greatest gift SoulTreat gave me this year: a deeper knowing that I truly do live an enchanted life.
