As we usher in another exciting year, you may be full of all kinds of thoughts, ideas, and aspirations about it. You may be visioning from the perspective of what it holds for you and perhaps, more importantly, what you can create with it.
With the big sudden shifts that we are experiencing on our planet right now, coupled with the pandemic, I won’t be surprised if your vision for this year is different from that of previous years.
Living through these times is enabling us to strip ourselves of everything that we thought of as important; coming back to what REALLY matters: HAPPINESS.
As we explore new ways of being and doing things, let’s talk about connecting with your vision of happiness.
What is Your Vision?
Vision connects to our sight. What we see or envision to see, either in the now or future. Have you created plans for this year yet? Some goals, intentions, vision boards, etc?
Who and what is in your vision? Loved ones, family, friends, career, financial plans, business plans, travel and holiday, dreams? Hopefully, you have put yourself in the vision too!
Dare I ask: Have you put yourself right in the centre of this vision?
If not, why not? If yes, why?
I invite you to review this vision again, make sure that you are in the centre of it, and that you are HAPPY.
What is Happiness for YOU?
Twenty-twenty sent us all on a soul-searching journey (planned or unplanned). It re-introduced us to something we all know but sometimes brush aside. In the midst of it all, we all only want to be happy!
While happiness and its definition vary from one person to the other, one thing is clear. Your happiness is unique to you. It does not need to be defined by others for you. Your happiness is defined by you and for you. When you are at your happiest state, you impact others to be happy.
That is how the oneness energy is created. Individuals being in their happiest states create a unified bunch of truly happy people.
For me, increasingly, I am defining happiness by a state of balance. I was glad to watch a documentary about the happiest countries in the world recently. Guess what the scale of happiness was benchmarked against? BALANCE.
Balance can be looked at in so many different angles when it comes to being in a happy state. A key angle for me: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual balance = HAPPINESS.
Connecting with Your Vision for Happiness
Staying connected to your vision of happiness this year and beyond could be the biggest gift you can give yourself and others.
