Inspired by 25 Tools for Life: Guided by the Universe – Finding Your Deeper Truth

Meet Miché Meizner, a Master Healing Facilitator, Spiritual Mentor, and Life Coach. In the soon-available book, The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care: 25 Tools for Life, Miché shares her journey from seeking to “save the world” to discovering the power of self-love and self-acceptance as the foundation for true healing.

The Wellness Universe (WU): Hello Miché, please tell us about yourself

Miché Meizner (MM): I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and by the time I was 20, I left the city to live a more rural life. I am a goldsmith, jeweler, and gemologist. I am primarily self-taught and have been working out of my studio, handcrafting custom-designed rings and fine jewelry. I live in Oregon in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains with my partner, two cats, and three dogs. Heart-to-heart talks with friends feed my soul. My idea of a good time is to watch videos about making all sorts of things and hacks to improve tools and day-to-day life. I consider myself a multipotentialite. I love to kayak, rockhound, gaze at clouds, and hug trees.

I am also a speaker, certified life coach, and spiritual mentor. I came into this life knowing I was supposed to “save” the world. I didn’t know what that meant or what to do, and honestly, I had to save myself first.

I’ve been working on a personal level practicing mindfulness, self-love, and transformational tools for decades, starting with trying to help myself out of deep depression, feeling like I didn’t belong here and didn’t fit.

With over 30 years of experience in energy healing, life coaching, and spiritual mentorship, I bring a mix of wisdom and woo, the practical and magical, to my life and my work with others. I like to call myself an “inspirational humorist.”

One of the ways I feel my approach is different than many others is that I’m often inclined to make a comment or observation that can bring laughter and an opportunity to lighten, shift perspective, and cut yourself some slack, even when it’s “the hard stuff.”

We can get sunk so quickly even when trying to lift ourselves up. We tend to focus on what we see as wrong. I like to break the heaviness up with humor or irony to ease tension, always delivered with compassion, support, love, and light.

I have come to understand that self-love and self-acceptance are foundational to healing and becoming the best version of ourselves. We all need and deserve respect, patience, and compassion, especially from ourselves.

WU: What inspired you to write your chapter in the book The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care: 25 Tools for Life?

MM: I was inspired to write my chapter to share my story. I’m probably not the only one who grew up believing they were here for some significant purpose and felt intimidated and disheartened by it. I always thought it was just me; it would have been encouraging to know I was not alone. So maybe some of you will read my chapter and realize you are not alone in this sense of responsibility either.

I feel it’s part of my purpose to share the wisdom and insight I have gained on my path so that others can find it easier as they navigate their own. I was in my 50s before the more profound healing and unshakeable self-love kicked in. If sharing my story and my tools can save somebody time in getting their bearings, building confidence, finding clarity, or maybe even saving a life, then that’s just more time to become more of who they are, shine their unique and just-right light, and share it with the planet.

WU: What tool do you share in this book, and what can we expect to experience as a result of using this tool?

MM: The tool I share in the book is about becoming aware of our self-talk and changing what we say to ourselves and how we say it. We hear everything we say to ourselves, whether we notice it or not, and most of it is not very kind, positive, or uplifting. It can be as simple as changing the words you use.

When you have a better picture of what has been going on in your head and shift your language, you become your inner cheerleader instead of your inner critic. You release yourself from past habits and patterns and bring mindfulness and choice into the mix.

WU: Is there a central message you want to leave readers with?

MM: You are perfectly imperfect, ever-evolving into new, beautiful versions of yourself. You are not alone, and God/Source/Universe has got your back.

  1. So nice to learn more about you Miche and the beautiful work you are doing in the world. I love how you shared you came into the world knowing you had to “save” it but first you had to save yourself. You are a blessing. So honored to be on this journey with you.
