Welcome to Jim Phillips’ Wednesday Wisdom for August 8th! Each Wednesday, WU World Changer Jim Phillips will share some mid-week wisdom for you to ponder and embrace!
“No one is exempt from the vagaries of life.”
Life will always provide exactly what we need to allow for the full expression and experience of our true Self.
No one is exempt from the uncertainties of life, which includes the wonderful as well the challenging. Life is difficult. Life is beautiful. Life is sadness. Life is joy. Life is all that we make it and all that it makes us. Life is everything we want, everything we don’t want, yet everything we need.
We can look at another’s life and believe that somehow life has bestowed greater favor on them. There is the appearance of “having it all together,” and to have a greater opportunity than most. And yet, beneath the mask of “all is well” is the pain they have hidden from view. We can never know what another is experiencing any more than they can know what we are experiencing.
No one is exempt from the vagaries of life. We will all have experiences of pain, joy, love, and fear.
And even though life might appear uncertain and random to us, it is not uncertain in what it provides. Everyone who has or will walk this planet incarnates with the same fallibilities and vulnerabilities that come with being in the physical body. There is an unstated knowing that at any time any one of us can suffer physically and emotionally and that in some ways life is never secure on the Earth plane.
We are all here to express and experience our Self within the context of the events life brings our way. It is in moving through these events that we gain the greater understanding of who we are, why we are here, and how we come to know our Self as Divine.
While life does not favor one over another, it does favor each of us by providing what best supports us in getting to our truth.
There is no one more or less deserving of all that life has to offer.
Some might think that because of where they believe themselves to be along the “spiritual spectrum” that life will become easier and void of the most difficult of life experiences. This just isn’t so. Life is an equal opportunity experience that provides what is required when it is most needed for all.
Isn’t it interesting that we rarely question the wonderful experiences of life, yet frequently question the challenging ones?
We are here to experience the full range of human emotions through the full range of life’s events.
Embrace each one, regardless of the form it takes, as an opportunity to expand your knowing and experience of the truth of who you are.
See you back here next week for my Wednesday Wisdom for August 15th!
