When we are busy, there is a great deal of energy and information that constantly flows through us, and we have a lot of unconscious thoughts and behaviours that are running the show.
While we are not often aware of this, it does create a kind of information overload in the body and mind. By going on retreat, we can take the time to slow down and create space. In doing so you release that sense of overwhelm in the body, rebalance the mind and restore the soul. When we have that clarity in both body and mind, we are able to make better decisions and function better when returning to normal life.
The whole purpose of going on retreat is to allow all of the body and mind to slow down, rebalance and restore. Once you slow down, you settle, and when you settle, you create space.
Autumn is a time of harvest and manifestation.
It is time to wind down the year, create space and to get ready for the winter that is coming. An autumn retreat in the majestic wilderness, of one of the oldest demarcated wine regions in the world, provides the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating and restorative one-week retreat.
The Douro, a Unesco World Heritage site since 2001, is like a canvas that changes with the seasons as it is painted with splashes of colour from the leaves and flowers of the different species of plants. In the autumn, the hills and valleys are covered in a carpet of copper and browns.
When we allow space to occur, we restore, then something new can come in, and that is what we will harvest and manifest at my upcoming Autumn Retreat.
There are a few spaces still available for my Autumn Retreat Sat, Oct 13 – Sat, Oct 20, Quinta do Klein in Douro Valley, Portugal, and you’re invited to join us.
What do you wish to harvest and manifest this Autumn? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!
