We asked Virginia to share her journey in writing her book. Shining a light and the inside scoop on her inspiration, process, reader reflections, and more.

WU: What influenced you to write your book, Virginia?

VIRGINIA: When I was a lawyer, I noticed that the traditional way we solved problems was not effective. There were no winners in the truest sense. Effectively, I learned that our systems are not solving problems, they are perpetuating them, causing people more angst and discontentment. I discovered that working with energy and the laws of nature, not only can we more readily solve problems on a sustainable basis, but we can also live more fulfilling lives in the process.

Through solving my own problems, including my decision to leave a 30-year marriage, I used these natural means. This helped me not only move through what was quite a turbulent experience with greater ease but also showed me how to live a life more aligned with my purpose.

WU: Tell us a bit about your journey. How long did it take you to write? How did writing your book change your life?

VIRGINIA: From the time I decided to write about my experiences, I would say it only took me 12 months to write this book. However, it is a culmination of my life experiences, so it would be better to say it took me 57 years to write!

My life had changed prior to writing the book. And that is what I write about.

WU: What are your readers sharing? How has your book inspired and impacted lives?

VIRGINIA: My readers are telling me that the book shows them a perspective they had not dared consider before and that the easy techniques I offer to solve problems are life changing.

WU: What do you aspire to achieve through your book?

VIRGINIA: I believe that if we become free from our problems, our worries, or concerns, then we will feel peace. If each one of us began to feel more peace in our lives, then the entire world would become more peaceful – something we could all share in.

WU: Any final words you would like to share?

VIRGINIA: We have been taught there is a right and a wrong way to live life. Many of us are feeling caged and are looking for real change. You may not know that if you spend your life worrying, worries will continue to appear.
