We each have at least two guardian angels.
They are with you your entire life whether you believe in their existence or not. They have loved you since before you were born.
The name angel means God’s messenger: a source of pure unconditional love. I often use the word God, Divine, or Creator, and others use the term All That Is, Universe, Source, Allah, I Am, or other reverent names. Use whatever name works best for you.
Our angels adore us and delight in being with us. You can call them anytime as they are just a breath away. You are not taking them away from “more important” matters, they, like God, are omnipotent and can be present for all of us, all the time.
We are living through extraordinary times when life as we know it has changed by leaps and bounds.
Many of us are sheltering-in-place or working our essential jobs to keep important services running. We are home-schooling our children, doing online learning, working from home, making do with the provisions we can acquire. Many have lost their source of income and health coverage, and are wondering how they are going to pay the bills. We are all doing the best we can.
I have witnessed so much beauty during these times, as well. Folks providing money, meals, sending PPE, volunteering, chalk drawings, and hosting online classes and videos to inspire and uplift, and many other ways to bless the world.
These uncertain times take a lot of energy out of us. You may find yourself eating more, wanting “comfort” food, or more rest than usual. You may feel you are “treading water;” holding space for all the uncertainty takes tremendous energy. This uncertainty is very draining so be extra loving and gentle with yourself, dear heart.
Here are some ways you can feel steadier during these unsettled times. Give yourself all the time, energy, and grace, you need dear heart.
- Swaddle yourself
I like to use a scarf or prayer shawl to wrap around my shoulders which feels like a delicious hug from above.
You may require extra sleep, naps during the day, or just pockets of time to be and not do anything.
- Be gentle with yourself and others
We are all doing the best we can. Give yourself and others grace.
This can be a walking meditation, being outside in nature, or getting still wherever you are. Allow the mind to slow down.
- Energy Healing Exercises
Exercises such as the Thymus Thump, stretching, and crossovers increase and bolster our immune system.
- Drink lots of water
Drink water to keep yourself hydrated and to help flush toxins from the body.
- Soothing showers or baths
This luxury helps you feel “drenched in love” and can be therapeutic with the addition of salts or essential oils.
In the enclosed video, I am leading a brief loving meditation called “Drenching You in Pure, Unconditional Love.” May it bless your heart.
Think about being drenched in love when you are in the rain, in the shower, in the tub, driving thru a car wash, seeing sprinklers working, envisioning or seeing a victory Gatorade drenching, drinking a glass of water, seeing the ocean, lake, river, stream, or pool. Envision yourself swimming in a sea of love. Being drenched in pure, unconditional love.
Envision every cell in your body “drenched in unconditional love.”
Here are some beautiful, empowering affirmations you can say every day:
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am well.
I am drenched in unconditional love.
