The Wellness Universe (WU): What is your mission?

Sherry Wuu (SW): My mission is to create a space where people feel safe enough to slow down, breathe, reflect, and remember who they truly are beneath the roles they play in daily life.

WU: Please tell us about yourself and what inspires you.

SW: I was born in Taiwan and now live in Los Angeles. My life has always been a bridge between East and West—from Chinese Opera to ballroom dance, and later yoga, meditation, and Chakradance.

What inspires me most is seeing people soften and relax when they feel safe in their bodies. When that happens, something beautiful opens naturally

WU: Now that we know a bit about you, explain what it is that you do and how it helps people to be happy, healthy, and healed.

SW: I’m a Total Well-Being Coach, yoga teacher, and Chakradance facilitator.

I use mindful movement, breathwork, and body awareness to help people reduce stress and reconnect with themselves.

When people feel grounded in their bodies, they make clearer choices, feel stronger emotionally, and experience more joy in everyday life.

WU: How long have you been doing this work?

SW: I’ve been working with movement for over 30 years, and in holistic well-being for more than 10 years.

My work continues to grow as I grow.

WU: Why are you so passionate about what you do?

SW: Because I know what it feels like to push forward without listening to myself.

I learned that healing doesn’t come from forcing—it comes from slowing down and paying attention.

That changed my life, and I want others to experience that too.

WU: Was there a specific life experience that caused you to follow this path?

SW: Yes. After many years of performing and striving, I reached a point where my body was asking for something deeper.

Through yoga and meditation, I realized the body holds wisdom.

When we truly listen, life begins to change naturally.

WU: Please share a story of how you have made a difference in someone’s life.

SW: One woman came to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure about her direction.

Through gentle movement and reflection, she learned to trust her body’s signals.

Over time, she became more confident and started making choices that truly aligned with who she is.

That’s the power of awareness.

WU: What will you be sharing at SoulTreat Retreat 2026?

SW: At SoulTreat 2026, I will be sharing an embodied Chakradance-experience workshop through movement and rhythm to activate the Seven Chakras.

It’s an embodied journey—not about learning theory, but about feeling it in the body.

Participants will leave feeling more grounded, clearer, and connected to themselves.

WU: What’s next on the horizon for you?

SW: I’m continuing to develop workshops and retreats, and I’m also writing books that bring together mindful movement, yoga philosophy, and conscious living.

Healing is not about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering who you already are.
