Here is her expanded thought …

Peace of mind isn\’t always easy to come by. Life so often feels like an endless merry-go-round of thoughts, activities, and decisions, large and small. At those moments when you feel like you\’re spinning out, the best thing you can do is take your seat. Rest for a while in the still center of the wheel.

That\’s where you\’re most likely to connect with what you need to know. It\’s where you\’ll find your own answers (rather than those of even your most trusted advisors), access embodied, refined wisdom, and take solace in remembering that you\’re part of a much larger web than the one you are weaving day-to-day.

It\’s not necessarily about meditating (though that is great) or emptying your mind of thoughts (which is rarely possible). It\’s about taking time and space to simply be, to let the thoughts meander and float of their own accord, neither attaching to nor fighting them, until you rest into something beyond thought; the essence of your sweet sacred self. The unique wisdom of your heart, which literally has a mind of its own. The place where you are more soul than ego, and most easily connected to your Source.

Start by finding a quiet place to sit for about 10 minutes, even if the only place you can do so is in the bathroom (I did lots of bathroom meditations at my last corporate job!). Feel your hands, and your breath moving in and out. Bring your awareness to your heart and to your lower abdomen. Become present and allow thoughts to drift without grasping or pushing away. Rest in the gap and feel what happens.
