Spiritual Practices – Positive Intelligence and PQ Reps

Welcome to the second installment in our Spiritual Practices series!

Each month, I’m introducing you to one of my favorites and this month, we’ll be exploring Positive Intelligence™ (PQ)

I was introduced to PQ in the middle of the pandemic by two dear coach friends and was so impressed by it that I did the whole year-long coach training and now practice it every day. It actually gives you simple, practical tools (complete with a digital app to guide you!) to quiet the part of the brain that sabotages you and to build up the other part – your Sage brain. A process we call “mental fitness.”

3 STRATEGIES to achieve MENTAL FITNESS

  • Weaken your Saboteurs — everyone has the Judge, and the other ones are:

Avoider                        Hyper Rational            Restless

Controller                    Hyper Vigilant             Stickler

Hyper Achiever           Pleaser                        Victim

  • Strengthen your 5 Sage Powers– ACTIVATE, EMPATHIZE, EXPLORE, INNOVATE, NAVIGATE
  • Strengthen Your PQ Brain Muscles w/ PQ reps – just as you do reps at the gym to strengthen your body’s muscles, you can also build your PQ muscles by shifting as much of your attention as you can from your mind to your body and any of your five senses for at least ten seconds.
