Welcome to A Conversation with Elizabeth Kipp –
Health Practitioner, Ancestral Clearing & Bilateral EFT/Tapping Practitioner, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and Stress Management Specialist.
The Wellness Universe directory is a resource and community filled with Change-Makers, we call WU World-Changers (Wellness Universe World-Changers). Today we want to introduce you to Elizabeth Kipp, whose mission is to guide people to unleash the power of their own healing.
Hello Elizabeth, will you please tell us about yourself?
I am a Health Facilitator, EFT/Tapping and Ancestral Clearing practitioner, and Kundalini Yoga Teacher. My mission is to help people to step into the power of their own healing. I have turned my attention as a patient advocate in service to the alarmingly high population of people who suffer from or are in recovery from chronic pain. On my website www.elizabeth-kipp.com, I offer a unique and hopeful supportive community forum by, and for, chronic pain patients wherein they can share their stories of struggle and triumph over their condition. I also offer sessions in finding ways to live beyond chronic pain through EFT/Tapping, Ancestral Clearing, and other stress management techniques.
Will you please tell us what you call yourself and explain what it is that you do?
I am a Health Practitioner, Ancestral Clearing and Bilateral EFT/Tapping Practitioner, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and Stress Management Specialist. I use a focused combination of stress management tools to help people release limitation, unhealthy beliefs and patterns, and negativity.
My purpose is to help relieve suffering.
My mission is to guide people to unleash the power of their own healing and offer tools to free them from suffering with a community of support along the way.
My vision is a world that encourages commitment, integrity, self-love, and service to others; a world where together we support each other’s growth; fosters peace and ease by encouraging ways to adapt to changes life brings and accepting that which we cannot change.
My contribution is a stand for freedom through an end to suffering resulting in world peace and the possibility that every person can fulfill their potential.
How exactly does that help someone?
When someone can release limitation in their life, they then become freer to live fully in their potential.
Why are you so passionate about helping others heal?
I am passionate about helping others heal because I want to see people escape from their cycle of suffering and negativity.
Did any specific life experience prompt you to follow this path?
In the months following the birth of my son in my burgeoning professional career was cut short by the emergence of a structural weakness in my low spine due to an old injury. I spent the next 31 years in and out of hospitals in pursuit of a way to stabilize my spine and find freedom from the persistent pain.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been doing this for 5 years.
Will you share a story of how you have made a difference in someone’s life?
“I’ve looked everywhere. I’ve seen scores of doctors. I’ve taken the medicines. I’ve done what I was told. The medicine isn’t working. I am still in pain – and it’s getting worse. I’m losing hope. I feel like I am standing on the edge of a ledge and will fall any moment. Surely there is another way to live – one without this constant suffering from chronic pain. Tell me what to do – I’ll do it. Just help me. Please! I found your name online and read your story. You have gone through chronic pain and come out the other side. Can you help me?”
“Yes. I am not a doctor or a therapist. However, I have gone through decades of chronic pain and found help to heal my condition and a way to live a life without suffering. I am happy to help teach you the tools that worked for me.”
I sat calmly with this chronic pain sufferer. First, I asked Claire to just breathe and drop any struggle with the pain. We talked for a short while and I listened to Claire’s story. She had never been able to tell her story to anyone who truly seemed to hear her. The relief in Claire’s voice from finally being heard was palpable. Next, I did an Ancestral Clearing with her. Claire felt a pronounced shift and release in her pain.
“Wow! I feel calm and ease in my body. I wasn’t sure that this would ever be possible for me again in my life. For the first time in eleven years, I have hope.”
Claire’s experience is an example of what is possible with chronic pain. The brain is changed by chronic pain. We need to bring modalities that help heal these changes. Opiates and benzodiazepines do not heal the changes that chronic pain impose on the brain. Doctors are generally not trained in how to heal chronic pain, only how to help us numb it. There are ways to recover from chronic pain.
What’s next on the horizon for you?
I will continue to work in my local community, around the US and the world to spread my vision. I am continuing my Level 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, a 300-hour program on top of the Level 1 KY TT, 200-hour program.
Thank you so much for sharing today, Elizabeth! Do you have any final thoughts?
There IS a way through chronic pain and through suffering. I know that if I can do this, anyone can. The human body has a miraculous healing power which we seldom learn how to leverage to enhance our well-being.
