Lynda shares with us an introduction about how she is creating a better world through well-being support.

Transformation, wellness, and self-care are only a connection away.

My Story

I’ve never been a huge fan of exercise, so when I tried Pilates as an undergraduate Philosophy major at Purchase College, I was sure I wasn’t going to like it. Instead, I loved it! It made me feel better, move better, and improved my whole constitution.

When I moved to Philadelphia in 1988 to attend graduate school at Temple, I saw an ad in the City Paper – “P/T exercise instructor wanted. Pilates background preferred.” I was the only person who knew what Pilates was, and I got the job! I learned on the job, and ultimately achieved full Pilates and Personal Training certifications while finishing graduate school.

I grew up with a bipolar mother and was forced to be extremely vigilant as a child. I learned to read the room, the mood, and the look on someone’s face, then decide how to act, or not. This hyper-vigilance serves me well in my work because I can very quickly see when someone’s in pain, not enjoying themselves, or not sure of what they are doing. My clients say that they are amazed at how much I can see through the computer screen.

I have owned award-winning Pilates studios; taught A-list celebrities, world leaders, and business moguls at Parrot Cay by COMO in Turks and Caicos; spent 10 years as a Master Pilates Teacher at the well-known Real Pilates in NYC; trained hundreds of Pilates teachers, and now I run a fully online Pilates business serving both consumers and Pilates Teachers.

What motivates me

Women need physical strength and mobility but are also prey to the countless diet and exercise fads out there. Many trainers aren’t qualified, and many focus on how people look, not on how they feel.

I was only motivated to exercise when I found something that I enjoyed, that didn’t hurt me, and that helped me feel and function better. Pilates improved the quality of my life and that’s what I try to help my clients attain.

Pilates teachers often lose focus on what’s important to their clients and to themselves and end up tired, overworked, and unfocused. I serve them by offering clear continuing education, especially in training people in pain, and on growing and running their own businesses with integrity.

My specialty

I specialize in designing custom modified Pilates workouts that help busy women build bone density, gain muscle strength, and improve mobility so that they can feel and function better for the long haul. And I do this best with women who have chronic pain, past injuries, and those with documented osteoporosis. My online Pilates clients take less pain medication, sleep better, and are able to do what they need to do without fear of injury.

My online space is a completely safe place for women to find their bodies again. Whether in a program, private session, or group class I meet my clients where they are and create custom-designed Pilates workouts to help them reach their goals.

For Pilates Teachers, I specialize in helping them build strong client relationships, create effective & safe workouts for all their clients, and run profitable businesses.

What my clients say

My clients enjoy an improved quality of life and a better relationship with their bodies and with exercise. They literally feel and function better, with greater strength and ease of movement. I change people’s lives!

“You may google and find plenty of reasons to consider Lynda to help you with your physical issues, however, I have had Lynda work with me personally with one on one sessions They literally changed my life by helping to reduce pain. She also completely changed my outlook on fitness. I could go on and on……..Go to her !!!” -D. McKenna

“Lynda Lippin is an extraordinary Pilates teacher. Her eye sees so much – so much more than you tell her! I’ve worked with her in person for about 10 years – plus two years virtually during the pandemic. I truly believe I am still healthy and agile because of how she has worked with my body during these stressful times. Every single time I have an appointment with her, I feel better afterward – and it lasts.” – J. Levine

“Lynda is the best instructor, in person or remotely, bar none, that I have ever encountered. She is encouraging and relentless, upbeat and realistic, and regardless of what’s going on (even in an online class), she’s got her eye on everyone, catching us each with the cues so we get the most out of the class. She’s also current. A lot of Pilates instructors are not aware of the limitations of the original Pilates exercises with respect to aging postmenopausal women’s backs and bones in general.

I heartily recommend Lynda. As I have tried to express, Pilates is an essential part of my being, I have experienced dozens of instructors and go back again and again to the best ones. Lynda is a keeper.”

– C. Colton

“Lynda is supremely knowledgeable in Pilates and all of its modifications. Her cues are personal and exact. She has her eye on YOU. I look forward to every group class or private lesson. Her students are wonderful, too. It\’s a pleasure to work with Lynda.” – R.S.

“My body is so grateful I discovered Lynda Lippin!

“I\’ve been doing live online mat classes with her for the past year, and am continually amazed at how well she sees through the screen, and how the slightest adjustment takes me to a whole other level of strength and litheness.

Even though she\’s in New York and I\’m in Seattle, and we\’ve never met \’IRL,\’ it feels like she knows my body as well as I do, if not better.  SHE REALLY IS A MASTER TEACHER.

Oh, and did I mention? — she\’s fun to work with too!” – L. Hazleton
