Here is her expanded thought …

Taking conscious risks is a powerful catalyst for inner change. You make the choice to do what is true, in spite of what that choice may cost you. It is from our choices in the present moment that forms our destiny. Risks are taken in the present moment. It is a state of the true now and not just an idea. It is a place of extraordinary and measureless power.

On the other side of any conscious risk is the realization that who you really are has nothing to fear. In order to make this self-liberating discovery, you must willingly face those fears, whatever they may be. Stand your inner ground, even if it may feel as though you might fall through the floor. Let your reactions roll past you instead of letting them carry you away as they have done in the past. Any risk we agree to is a real intention we set for ourselves to rise above our present level of being. It will definitely reveal a lower level of self that doesn\’t want to proceed. This is your cue to become inwardly aware of those thoughts and feelings that begin to grab your attention.

Many people settle; they settle for mediocrity. A dream embraced by the masses because it makes just getting by an acceptable, sometimes applauded, social art form. They are frightened by risk, so many agree to sleep their way through life. In essence, they lose everything because it rules out the possibility of their soul\’s awakening.

The moment of any real conscious risk always feels like a tunnel with no light at the other end. Each time you choose to enter it, that tunnel turns into a bridge allowing you to walk past your old fearful life. True pleasure and spiritual satisfaction can be found in having your own life when you take the risk of finding it for yourself, all by yourself.
