Let’s talk CBD. CBD has so many wonderful benefits. Maybe you have tried it, maybe you are curious, maybe you are seeking clarity or trying to decide if it’s right for you.

Many safely use CBD to help with stress and feel a sense of well-being. Many who experience anxiety count on CBD to help them.

We have gathered a bit of information that scratches the surface about common CBD questions you might have.

CBD is one of the most popular products in the natural health industry right now and for good reason! The potential benefits of CBD are incredibly exciting. And as intriguing as this product is, it often leaves a lot of questions unanswered about what it is, how it’s used, and what the potential benefits actually are. We understand that and we want to help make sense of all the noise so that you can understand if CBD is right for you.

What is CBD?

CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a substance extracted from the cannabis or hemp plant. It is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system, or eCS, (more on that later). It is natural, plant-derived, and has no possibility of getting you high. That infamous effect is actually due to THC, something that you will not find in any of our broad-spectrum products. You can check out the test results for each product on the product pages to see exactly what’s in them.

Now, there are three different kinds of CBD. You’ll find broad-spectrum, full-spectrum, and isolate. Full-spectrum means there are trace amounts of THC, less than 0.3% (which is federally legal). Many people find these small amounts to be beneficial and the amounts are not high enough to actually get you high. Broad-spectrum starts as a full spectrum but then removes all the THC, leaving behind all the other benefits of the plant. Isolate, you guessed it, isolates CBD from the rest of the plant leaving only CBD and nothing else.

Benefits of CBD

As we’ve already discussed, CBD supports your body’s own endocannabinoid system. CBD works with your body to support your naturally occurring endocannabinoid levels. This, in turn, helps your body maintain homeostasis. CBD also prevents enzymes from breaking down your body’s own natural endocannabinoids, which lets your body retain more of its own endocannabinoids.

The endocannabinoid system regulates such a huge number of bodily processes your appetite, pain, mood, memory, nervous system, immune activity, blood pressure, bone density, glucose metabolism, stress, and more. It’s pretty important! So, what happens when your eCS doesn’t function properly? If you’re chronically deficient in endocannabinoids or have an overactive eCS that produces too much, it can throw your whole body out of balance.

And that’s where CBD comes into play. While CBD is working to support a healthy endocannabinoid system response, it may potentially bring your body back into balance and help with overall health and wellbeing.

While this information is great, it is just a short introduction to the many benefits of CBD.
