The power of affirmations is within the words we choose and in speaking them out loud. Our self-talk happens in our head and is quite commonly negative having a profound impact on our well-being. Affirmations can reverse our negative self-talk.
Here is where the practice of reciting affirmations can change your life for the better. The more often we speak words that are positive and high vibration out loud and feel into the words, the more we will be able to create anchors that support us operating from the vibration of these words.
It has been scientifically proven that positive words have a profound impact on our wellbeing.
Have you heard of the water crystal experiments by Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto? He tested the theory that water can understand and retain the energy of human intention.
This excerpt is taken from Masaru Emoto – Office Masaru Emoto
In his various books, the first of which was published in 1999, Dr. Emoto, a doctor of Alternative Medicine, introduced the novel idea that water not only reflects the physical world around it (as when we use a placid lake or pond as a mirror), but it also reflects the consciousness of the being surrounding it.
The experiment he used to discover included bottles filled with water, that were set under either a positive or a negative influence. For example, some bottles of water were wrapped with written notes, with the writing facing inside the bottle that said, “thank you.” This was done in various languages. No matter what language was used, the water in these bottles, when frozen, created complete crystals that were lovely to behold.
Water over which a priest prayed, with love and gratitude, created the same type of crystals. Conversely, unpleasant, incomplete, and malformed crystals were created in water exposed to people saying or writing, “You fool,” or other negative expressions.
By exposing water to a particular word or piece of music, freezing it, and photographing the ice crystals formed, Dr. Emoto has shown that from beautiful words and music, come beautiful crystals, and from mean-spirited, negative words, come malformed and misshapen crystals. What is the significance? It becomes clear when we remember that the adult human body is approximately 70% water and infant bodies are about 90% water. We can be hurt emotionally and, as the water can be changed physically for the worse physically by negativity. However, we are always closer to beauty when surrounded by positive thoughts, words, intentions, and ultimately by those vibrations.
Now imagine how good you can feel and the blessings that will unfold in your life if you spoke to yourself with love and operated from a place of positive energy?
This is where affirmations are much more than words. They are our awareness, health, wellbeing, and experience of life.
By speaking high vibration words and allowing the feelings associated with those words to settle into our being, we transform ourselves down to the cellular level.
We already know emotions are captured in our cells and need to be released or we carry them, sometimes for lifetimes, causing trauma.
The same must hold true if we allow the experience of positive words to become one with us as we feel the positive resonance in speaking them, taking ownership, and operating from them.
I would like to share with you some of my favorite personal affirmation. They may or may not resonate with you depending where you are on your healing journey and that’s okay.
Pick words that feel good to you, words you can say out loud with integrity and believe in them. Then move onto words that really pack power when you are ready.
Some of us are just trying to make it through the day. Be gentle. Pick words and affirmations that are gentle.
The better you feel day by day, the more accepting, excited, and responsible you will feel to live up to the potential you hold; and the blessings and miracles that await you will flow effortlessly to you and through you!
I like to end my affirmations with one of the most powerful and highest vibrational words for me, grateful.
- I am aware and I am grateful.
- I am present and I am grateful.
- I am healthy and I am grateful.
- I am compassionate and I am grateful.
- I am enough and I am grateful.
- I am happy and I am grateful.
- I am supported and I am grateful.
- I am centered in love and I am grateful.
- I am surrounded by love and I am grateful.
- I am honoring every moment of today and I am grateful.
- I am calm and serene, and I am grateful.
- I am having a great day and I am grateful.
- I am operating from my highest vibration and I am grateful.
- I am resilient and I am grateful.
- I am ready and I am grateful.
- I am resourceful and I am grateful.
- I am whole and I am grateful.
- I am healed and I am grateful.
- I am full and I am grateful.
